Mrs. Marie-Anna Gautreau, 84, of Foyer St-Thomas, Saint-Joseph and formerly of Gautreau Village, passed away Saturday, December 17, 1994 at the Foyer after a lengthy illness.
Born in Boudreau Office, she was the daughter of the late Placide and Adéline (LeBlanc) Gautreau. She was employed as a School Teacher for 34 years until retirement and attended Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church in Pré-d'en-Haut and was a member of the Club d'Age d'Or de Pré-d'en-Haut.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred T. Gautreau; two daughters, Mrs. Francis Gaudet (Dorothée) of Neufchatel, Que, and Mrs. Marc Gene Albert (Rachel) of St-Philippe-de-Néri, Que.; one sister, Mrs. Alma LeBlanc of Petit-Cap; and one brother, Léo Gautreau of Shediac; five grandchildren, Michel, Lynn, Joanne, Kevin and Cindy; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Bertha; and one brother, Philias.
Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd., Memramcook, with the Funeral service to be held at Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut, on Tuesday, December 20, 1994 at 7 p.m. Interment in Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation Cemetery, Pré-d'en-Haut.
